About Sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah!

I translate between systems and people.

I enjoy identifying patterns in systems, cognition, and learning. From programming environments to school rubrics, I can translate between technical systems and human needs.

As a graduate assistant at Texas Woman’s University, I supported over 50 students weekly through grading, tutoring, refining assignments, and creating original rubrics. I use languages like Python, R, and SQL to conduct data analysis on behavioral patterns. Before graduate study, I worked in IT support and retail. These roles helped shape my interest in turning lived experience into research.

Currently, my academic focus centers on measurement, profile variability, and exploratory data analysis. I want to study how people make sense of their experiences, especially when environments leave important questions unanswered.

about me (fun + human section)

When I’m not conducting data analysis, I’m likely categorizing information for no reason or losing sleep over hyper-analyzing fictional characters. Sometimes you'll also find me decoding ingredients lists (especially skincare) and gushing over cats.

I've probably taken every free personality assessment in existence: MBTI, OCEAN, Enneagram, Kibbe, color analysis, you name it.

I also spend a ridiculous amount of hours on anime, horror, and PC games – especially Rocket League, Dead by Daylight, and Once Human.
